At Arm Candy we strive to not only make one of a kind products for you to enjoy and love, we also do our best to get our fabrics, yarns and fasteners from local sources. This Tuesday we are featuring a bag re-loved from a vintage feed sack of a company established in 1914, today headquartered in Columbia, MO. We’ve re-purposed this feed sack into an awesome, reinforced carry-all tote that you can use everyday!
We will have this item featured for sale at this weekend’s Hickory Dickory market! See you there!
Price $68 USD
Baby, it’s cold outside! So why not stay warm with a little added sparkle? Made by knitting two yarns together as one, this super chunky, super cozy, dash of glam scarf will keep you toasty while you consider packing up your house and moving to Bora Bora where the winter low’s are in the 70’s. Keep the faith, and a bottle of Irish Creme, because spring is coming, but today calls for a dynamite sweater/ scarf combo!
Follow the sparkle right into Hickory Dickory, February 7-9, where this piece can be found. If it is calling your name, please email us or message us on facebook and we will get this item shipped to you ASAP! As ever you can pay safely and securely with PayPal or the Square Reader!
Have a great week, and stay toasty!
So, tomorrow is Christmas Day. Wait, what?! How did it arrive so quickly?? Kudos to all of you who are done shopping with your presents wrapped and under the tree, because that is not the case here at Arm Candy at all! We’ve been filling orders and selling out at art fairs!
It really has been a great holiday season of gifting and giving, but we must admit it will be nice to get back to a little “self-gifting” instead of buying presents for others, don’t you agree??
For your newness Tuesday, Christmas Eve edition, we’ve got a brand new gem to share that is JUST the thing on blustery, negative windchill days like today!
This little pumpkin is a hand knit scarf to keep your neck warm and toasty under that parka that never seems to button right and always leaves your neck frozen! Kirsten may or may not have made one in a different color for herself and has been sporting it around all week!
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE!!!!
❤ K and Crew
It is so hard to believe that just a few months ago we were all festival wristlets and family bar-b-que cross body’s. Now, the leaves are changing, our windows are open, and everything we eat begins with the word “Pumpkin.”
At Hickory Dickory this weekend we’re embracing Fall and stocking our shelves with cozy cowls, chunky knits, and felted handbags! Bring your thermos of pumpkin spice latte, fill up on pumpkin bread, and head on down here this weekend for some amazing antiques, inspiration, and of course, a little Arm Candy!
Santa Claus is packing his bags and heading to Kansas City this weekend, and HE’S BRINGING PURSES!
I know this is making you weak in the knees, but don’t faint just yet, because you have GOT to see this newness that will be featured at Hickory Dickory this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in the West Bottoms!!!
This little gem plus so many others will be featured this weekend at 1107 Hickory Street in Kansas City. See the facebook page for more info!

Arm Candy is a company born from my passion for handbags and accessories. A purse can make or break an outfit, and I strive to give new life to repurposed fabric and materials to create one-of-a-kind pieces for my collections. Vintage fabric is one of my greatest passions and I incorporate them into my designs as often as possible.
I am inspired by decades past but nature is also a huge source of creativity for me. Color combinations in nature are so harmonious, and I believe that if they work in the great outdoors, they will be beautiful when incorporated in Arm Candy’s accessories!
